It has been a very sad week for me. My long time friend Tim Murphy, owner of The Fab Shop in Indianapolis passed away on 9-1-2011.  Tim was a Master Header builder and there are literally hundreds of sets of his headers on every imaginable type of competition vehicle there is. I have known him since his senior year of high school in 1984. He will be sadly missed and his fingerprints are on my Fairlane in several respects. His wife Judy, daughter Jessica, and son Kelley are going to continue forward with the business and I wish them the very best.  I will miss the occasional phone calls and “How was your weekend at the track” conversations.  We never know when the Lord is going to call us home and although we all love these old cars, at the end of the day they are just material objects.
